Bourn-Running is an initiative working in partnership with the Rowheath Pavilion Church that provides opportunities for people to improve their physical fitness and sense of well-being through running.
Bourn-Running currently offers the following sessions during term time:
Couch to 5k
For beginners with little or no experience of running and who want to improve their overall fitness levels. Sessions are at 10:45am Wednesday mornings and 9:15am Friday mornings
An intensive session aimed at increasing current fitness. Ideal for people who have just completed the Couch to 5K course. Sessions are at 9:30am and 7pm on Wednesdays.

Run – Revive – Thrive
At the heart of Bourn-Running is the aim to make running an enjoyable experience that can offer the potential to transform peoples’ lives both physically and mentally. Any time and space that is devoted to a physical activity like running can improve health and physical fitness, as well as improving mood and self-confidence. It is hoped that the courses on offer will leave people thriving, not just surviving!
Bourn-Running Coach Profile
Alison Davies is a qualified Coach in Running Fitness (CiRF) through the England Athletics Association. She has been a keen road runner for many years, and is a member of the Bournville Harriers. She has two daughters, two guinea pigs, and she doubts that you can ever own enough trainers…
