Our aim is that the kids develop friendships with each other, learn about God and have fun. Children are a valued part our church and all children are welcome to come along! As well as groups on Sunday mornings, we are planning some parties for the summer, and kids are always welcome at events such as Love Bournville.
Sunday Morning Groups
Lynn Braden - Church Children's Worker
At Rowheath Pavilion Church, our goal is to create a safe and fun place for children and for
those who volunteer with them. In everything we do with children, we want them to develop
friendships with each other, learn about God and have a lot of fun!
There are children and youth groups during the 10:45am service only. They go out to their
groups after song worship and then rejoin their families at the end of the service for
communion, which includes grapes and bread for the children.
Children are an important part of our church family and we love the energy and excitement
that they contribute to the life of the church!
Creche/Ignite (school years reception and 1-2)
Illuminate (school years 3-6)
In this group we sing songs, hear a Bible story and make some sort of craft. If there is extra
time, often we will have a biscuit and play with toys or playdough.
In this group we love to play games and learn about the Bible in relaxed and relevant ways.
Sometimes we have competitions, watch videos or even cook, but we will always find a creative
way to dig into God’s word.
